Weighed and Treasured
A submission to GMTK Game Jam 2023 so unfinished it needs, probably, to be explained in its description.
In this game you play as a humble dungeon chest, stuck in situ, and decide what in your loot table to give to whomst based on need and worth (drag and drop to the adventurer or their paper doll). Treasure needs replenishing however: run out (or just want to restock with something better/snack on a dirtbag) and transform into a mimic to consume an adventurer for their items (click the mimic next to the item bar or just run out of items).
We had a lot of ideas for this that we just didn't have time to implement, including most of the uses for the game's internal alignment system, but we had fun! All code, art and copy done within the 48 hour jam. Thanks for playing and good luck in the voting!
